Advantages and disadvantages of social networking site

According to the lecture note,  Social networking site(SNSs) is construst a public or sema-public profile within a bounded system. Social networking site is a kind of platform that create for communicate and connect with each other even though in different country different places. Nowadays, social networking site become more general, Facebook, Blogger, MySpace, Twitter....But through social networking site, it may bring advantages or disadvantages.

Social networking site can let users keep in touch with each other with low cost. for those who are leave their own country, family. the can connect with family with social networking site. we can know about what the people doing. no need effort with the expensive long distance telephone fee.

Though the social networking site, we can improve our social skill. we can more easier make friends via social networking. though the social networking site, we can share our feeling, thinking to everyone. It can let others more understand about own feeling. Somethings that are hard to say with face to face also can using SNS to convey.

Although SNS bring many convenient and advantages to us, but in the fact, it also  under cover many dangerous and unsafe. the safety concern is the most important and need to protect. SNS create a platform that can let people to cheating. Some of the user will using the fake identity to cheat with the good looking picture, nice and good identity and background. That is the headwater of those crime cases.

SNS have the right to change its policy, the creater can sell your personal information to anyone want to buy it , the buyers can be the spammers and on line predators.

As the conclusion, using SNS wisely to protect ourselve that is the most important. SNS maybe will bring many disadvantages to us, but in the fact, it also bring a lot of benefit and enjoyment to us.

Cybersociety n communication

What is cyber society?? I think that must be related to the cyber+society…haha

In my opinion, I think that cyber is a tool that we can get many information, communicate, build up relationship with someone strangers, or family, friends~^^

Cyber society = facebook, twitter, blogger??? I think is…

In the course of cyber society and communication, I think we will learn about what kind of feeling, way….that the people who using cyber communication, or maybe the type of cyber communication?

I am not attending the 1^st lecture of this course, I really no idea for this course, but i hope that i can know more n more about tis course...
